Case File: The Counterfeit INQUEST App
Date: July 5, 2026
Subject: Identity Theft & Intellectual Property Fraud
Primary Suspect: “Rizk Corsight, LLC”
Every good detective knows a forgery when they see one. The paper feels wrong, the alibi has holes, and the motive is almost always a quick buck.
It has come to my attention that an imposter has set up shop on the Google Play Store. Operating under the alias “Inquest Daily Detective Game”, this suspect is charging unsuspecting citizens ₹110.00 for a counterfeit product.
Let me be crystal clear: This app is a forgery. It is not mine, and it is not affiliated with the real INQUEST.
The suspect, listed on the storefront as Rizk Corsight, LLC, has committed blatant identity theft. They stole the INQUEST name, forged our signature logo (the red stamp on the yellow case folder), and meticulously mirrored our user interface. From the evidence we’ve gathered, it appears they are using automated AI to mass-produce cheap imitation cases, trying to pass them off as our hand-crafted mysteries.
The Real INQUEST is Free
I built INQUEST as a passion project. The goal was to bring authentic, carefully written murder mysteries to everyone—not to squeeze players for cash. Seeing an imposter rip off this community’s hard work and slap a price tag on it is a crime I can’t ignore.
Your Orders
If you cross paths with this counterfeit app, do not buy it.
If you have already fallen victim to this grift, I strongly advise you to file a grievance with Google Play, request a full refund, and report the app for intellectual property infringement.
There’s only one official place to review the real case files, and it won’t cost you a dime. You can always find the genuine article right here at playinquest.com.
A massive thank you to the sharp-eyed community members who flagged this suspect. Keep your eyes open, detectives. The streets are full of liars.
