Free play and Premium

Today's Daily Dossier and The Missing Watch tutorial can be played without payment. Signed-in detectives can also play the handcrafted casebook and latest seven daily cases. Premium unlocks replays, up to one year of daily cases, random case challenges, and removes ads.

Premium payments

Premium is normally $5 for 30 days or $5 per month. Both options are currently 80% off: $1 for 30 days or $1 per month while the subscription is active. Premium revenue helps cover server bills and ongoing development. The checkout page clearly identifies the selected option and, for recurring support, shows the billing interval before you confirm. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments; we do not receive or store your full card details.

Cancel recurring Premium

You may cancel recurring Premium at any time from Settings & accountwhile signed in. Choose Cancel at next billing date to keep Premium until the current paid period ends, or Cancel immediatelyto end Premium access now. In either case, you will not be charged again after the cancellation takes effect. If you need help, emailhello@playinquest.com from the checkout email address and include the receipt or subscription ID. The game returns to free access when Premium ends.

Refunds and billing mistakes

If you chose the wrong option, were charged more than once, or do not recognize a genuine PLAY INQUEST Premium payment, contacthello@playinquest.com with the checkout email and receipt ID. We will investigate and process any eligible refund through Dodo Payments. This policy does not limit any refund or cancellation rights that apply under local law.

Counterfeit apps that do charge money

We are aware of at least one imitation app that copied the former INQUEST name and branding and charged for it on an app store. That app is not ours, was never authorized by us, and this refund policy does not apply to it, any refund for a purchase made through a counterfeit listing has to go through that store's own refund process and, if needed, your bank. If you paid through a listing claiming to be PLAY INQUEST, please also let us know atour contact page, we track these reports and have gotten fake listings removed before.
