This month brings one big addition to the casebook and one important warning for players.
A newly generated case every morning
The Daily Dossier now places a fresh, newly generated murder mystery at the top of the casebook every morning. Each daily file is self-contained: a crime scene, a circle of suspects, conflicting statements, and one contradiction that gives the killer away.
These daily generated cases sit alongside the original handcrafted collection. Everything is free to play in the browser. Today's Daily Dossier can be started without an account; the handcrafted collection requires a Google account.
Beware of the counterfeit INQUEST app
A fake, paid app using the INQUEST name and copied visual identity has appeared on Google Play as Inquest Daily Detective Game, published by Rizk Corsight, LLC. It is not made by or affiliated with PLAY INQUEST.
The genuine PLAY INQUEST remains free at playinquest.com. Do not pay for the counterfeit app. The identifying details and full warning are in the Journal notice.
